THE BAHA'I FAITH IN BELARUS
“Be unrestrained as the wind, while carrying the Message of Him Who hath caused the Dawn of Divine Guidance to break. Consider, how the wind, faithful to that which God hath ordained, bloweth upon all the regions of the earth, be they inhabited or desolate. It behoveth him (every one that claimeth to be a lover of the one true God) to fix his gaze upon the fundamentals of His Faith, and to labor diligently for its propagation. Wholly for the sake of God he should proclaim His Message, and with that same spirit accept whatever response his words may evoke in his hearer”. BAHA'U'LLAH, GLEANINGS, CLXI.:2.
There is no clergy in the Baha'i religion,
so the teachings of the Faith are spread by the individual members
of the community. In most cases Baha'is do this by inviting to
their homes friends, acquaintances, and anyone else who is
interested in learning about this new religion. There is a substantial amount of literature in Russian on various aspects of the Baha'i Faith. This makes it possible for seekers to study the Baha'i teachings on their own. Books can be purchased or borrowed from the libraries of local communities. Those who would like to gain a deeper understanding of the Baha'i
Faith, its philosophy, laws and commandments can sign up for study
courses with the Baha'i Training Institute.
